As Architectural Director, Clare shares the responsibility for the performance and success of the practice with the Technical Director, David Callan.

Clare and David established the company in 2004 which has grown over the last 4 years to become a thriving RIBA Chartered Practice with 5 full time employees.

Clare studied Interior Design at Newcastle College followed by Architecture at Newcastle University. She gained valuable experience during her year out with FaulknerBrowns. They continued her employment on a part-time basis when she returned to University and she eventually returned to a full-time position in 2000.

Clare decided that she wanted to specialise in residential design and left FaulknerBrowns to join a large Social Landlord who was establishing a new housing team to create new homes for sale and rent. Clare was responsible for leading the new build team, master planning residential sites of vary scales from 10 apartments to 150 new homes and project
managing jobs on site.

Valuable experience was gained which led to the realisation that establishing a practice was the next logical progression.
